Clinical Nurse III: Critical Care Float Pool - Night Shift

As a Clinical Nurse III in our Critical Care Float Pool, you will have the opportunity to work across all Critical Care areas at the Region's only Level I trauma center. This role is perfect for a skilled nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding career.

Position Details:

• Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night Shift
• Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61
• Hourly Rate: $36.73 - $60.93

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests.
• Document treatments per company policy and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care rendered.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create effective Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and maintain high professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques.
