Clinical Nurse III - Elective Orthopedics

Join our dedicated team in the Elective Orthopedics department! We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse III to provide outstanding care for post-surgical patients, particularly those undergoing elective orthopedic and Total Joint surgeries.

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

B3West is a 24-bed unit featuring private rooms, where our nursing staff specializes in caring for both post-surgical and orthopedic trauma patients. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in creating an environment of compassion and support for patients, their families, and your colleagues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of quality concepts and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care.
