Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Job Description Summary

Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, documenting care as required by policy and regulations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Use sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
• Provide immediate and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for patients.
• Guide and mentor ancillary nursing staff while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques with the ability to apply them in a healthcare setting.
