Clinical Nurse III - Labor and Delivery

As a Clinical Nurse III specializing in Labor and Delivery, you will play a vital role in fostering a caring environment for patients and their families. We're looking for dedicated individuals who can deliver compassionate care while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Department: Labor & Delivery - D6E

Work Shift: Day (7 AM - 7:30 PM, with weekend and holiday commitment)

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications, while documenting all treatments in compliance with regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications and collaborate on patient care plans.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel to uphold professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques for patient care improvement.
