Clinical Nurse III - Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care as per company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to the delivered care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide and supervise ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.

Additional Opportunities:

• You will receive cross-training for the High Risk Antepartum Unit and Labor and Delivery.
• Assignments will be made to work in either unit regularly.
