Clinical Nurse III: Med/Surg Float Pool - Weekend Days

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as required by policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer both over-the-counter and prescription medications according to orders.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold the standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools, with the ability to apply them to enhance patient care quality and departmental performance.
