Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse III in the Medical Cardiology unit! You will play a crucial role in patient care, ensuring that our patients receive top-notch service throughout their hospital stay. Our unit is a 29-bed facility, including a private room and semi-private rooms, caring for both acute and chronically ill patients with various cardiac and medical conditions. Most patients require telemetry monitoring after cardiac procedures, ranging in age from young adults to the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments and procedures.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management.
• Provide primary and emergency care for patient injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide and supervise ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a PCA or nursing assistant preferred.
• Willingness to enhance job performance through continuing education.
• Familiarity with quality improvement concepts and tools is a plus.
