About the Medical Cardiology Unit:

The Medical Cardiology unit is a 29-bed facility featuring a mix of private and semi-private rooms. Patients are admitted from various sources, including the Emergency Department and Cardiac Catheterization Lab, primarily requiring telemetry monitoring after minimally-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures. Our diverse patient population includes individuals ranging from young adults (18 years) to geriatric patients (100+ years).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, coordinate, plan, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout their care journey.
• Focus on patient progress toward discharge, ensuring quality care transitions during their hospital stay.
• Deliver and coordinate care with compassion and competency, supporting both patients and the healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively with referring facilities, hospital staff, and within community settings to ensure excellent patient experiences.
