Work Schedule: Night Shift, 36 hrs/week

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

As a Clinical Nurse III, you are essential in assessing, coordinating, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients throughout their recovery process. Your role focuses on facilitating a seamless transition within the acute care setting and towards discharge, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate and competent care during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders while administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment in management decisions for patient care.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer prescribed medications as per orders.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and execute a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is essential.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to implement them in patient care settings.
