Work Shift: Day (United States of America)

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Your Role: As a Clinical Nurse, you will assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the comprehensive care of patients throughout their care journey, focusing on their progress toward discharge, including during transitions in acute care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments while ensuring accurate documentation as per policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patient needs and responses to care.
  • Exercise sound nursing judgment in patient care decision-making.
  • Deliver primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications as ordered, both over-the-counter and prescription.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for patients.
  • Guide and support ancillary staff while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience required.
  • At least 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience.
  • A commitment to continuous education for improving job performance.
  • Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques.
