Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team in the Operating Room, where you will play a crucial role in the care of surgical patients. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will assess, coordinate, plan, and implement patient care throughout their surgical journey, ensuring the highest quality of compassionate care.
Work Hours: NIGHTS (40 hours/week)
Location: Operating Room (Main Campus), Albany, NY
Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders and administer medications in a sterile environment, while adhering to policies and regulations.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining professional nursing standards.
- Act as an advocate for patients during surgical procedures, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CNOR certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of prior clinical RN experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools to enhance patient care and departmental quality improvement.
