Job Description Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform various treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide both primary and emergency care for work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications as directed.
• Work in collaboration with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide and support ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program, holding a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Solid understanding of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools/techniques, with the ability to apply these in support of quality improvement in patient care and departmental standards.

Salary Range: $33.00/hr - $63.98/hr
