Join our dynamic Vascular Interventional Radiology Unit (VIR) as a Clinical Nurse III! This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a significant difference in patient care.

Position Details:

  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day Shift
  • Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61
  • Hourly Rate: $36.73 - $60.93

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer conscious sedation and perform hemodynamic monitoring for critical care patients.
  • Nurture patients through Phase 1 anesthesia recovery, catering to both pediatric and adult demographics.
  • Expertly manage the use and access of central venous devices.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Prior experience in peri-procedural nursing for outpatients and inpatients in Interventional Radiology.
  • Demonstrated ability in critical care nursing, preferably with ACLS and/or PALS certification.
  • A solid foundation in administering conscious sedation and understanding patient monitoring techniques.

Comprehensive Duties Include:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, draw blood, perform procedures, and document care accurately according to established standards.
  • Evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and manage patient conditions effectively.
  • Collaborate with nursing teams to develop tailored care plans for each patient.
  • Maintain high standards of nursing practice while guiding auxiliary staff and ensuring quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is mandatory.
  • At least 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, including a minimum of 1 year in Telemetry or ICU settings.
