Clinical Nurse IV, PACU - Night Shift, 32 hrs/week

As a Clinical Nurse IV, you will contribute to fostering a compassionate and nurturing environment for patients, families, and fellow colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document care following company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment for informed patient care management decisions.
• Provide both primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications, including over-the-counter options as needed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop tailored Plans of Care for each patient.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and techniques, with ability to apply them effectively in patient care settings.
