Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients. Your focus will be on guiding patients toward a successful discharge while ensuring they receive exceptional care during their acute care stay. You will collaborate closely with the caregiving team to deliver competent and compassionate patient care in various healthcare settings.
Hourly Range: $36.73 - $60.93
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care per company policies.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to appropriately assess patients' conditions.
- Conducting thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to care.
- Utilizing sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administering medications as ordered, both over-the-counter and prescription.
- Collaborating with nursing teams to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience is required.
- 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience is preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing education and improvement of job performance.
- Familiarity with quality concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques in support of patient care quality improvement.
