Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Medical Cardiology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, and delivering high-quality patient care throughout their episode of care. Your focus will include facilitating a smooth journey toward discharge while ensuring optimal care during transitions within the acute care setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments while adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to accurately assess and identify patient conditions.
• Conducting thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to care.
• Employing sound nursing judgment to make informed patient care management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administering medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription options.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Leading and guiding ancillary personnel while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
