Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

Join Albany Medical Center as a dedicated Clinical Nurse who plays a crucial role in patient care. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will assess, coordinate, plan, implement, and manage patient needs throughout their care episode. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth transitions for patients within the acute care setting, ultimately aiming for a successful discharge.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing physician orders and administering medications, IVs, treatments, and procedures in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assessing patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Using sound nursing judgment in patient management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to create individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them for enhanced patient care.

Hourly Rate: $34.65 - $35.69
