Clinical Nurse V: Critical Care Float Pool - Days (32 hours/week)

Join an accomplished team in the Critical Care Float Pool! This is a unique opportunity to enhance and practice your critical care skills across multiple specialties, including:

• Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU
• Medical ICU
• Coronary Care Unit
• Cardiovascular ICU
• Intermediate Care ICU (MSICU)

As a Registered Professional Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool, you will have the chance to gain additional competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas. Work within the region's only Level I trauma center and make a significant impact on patient lives.

The role involves:

• Assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, and managing assigned patients' needs throughout their care journey.
• Focusing on seamless transitions during the acute care stay and ensuring progression towards discharge.
• Delivering comprehensive patient care with an emphasis on competency and compassion.

Your expertise will be essential in providing consistent care to our diverse patient population, including referrals from other facilities and the local community.

This position also provides a pathway for professional growth through the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP), allowing you to advance from novice to expert status within your specialty.
