About the Position:
With Amity Foundation, the Clinical Social Worker assures that service is perpetuated through individual and group supervision techniques. Clinical file reviews are routinely done for staff under direct supervision, including establishing specific, personal, and professional development goals. This position ensures that clinical records are accurate, current, and meet Medical Assistance standards and DHS licensing regulations. The Clinician will liaise with the DHS. The diversion office facilitates ICMS and psychosocial needs to stabilize clients in permanent housing, reduce functional, health, and mental health barriers, and promote recovery and community integration.
Salary Range: $60k/yr to $70k/yr
What You Will Do:
Provide direct clinical advising to all faculty supporting the project.
Share a regular rotation providing after-hours on-call supervision of organization-wide clinical services.
Provide clinical crisis interventions with clients and their treatment team, which includes mental health providers, probation officers, housing case managers, and Amity case managers.
Plan and schedule ongoing workload assignments, adjust project priorities in consultation with Amity Management, and prepare work completion schedules.
Provide consultation about clinical and administrative issues to other resources as requested.
Function as a liaison between the DHS and the project to reduce system-level barriers, implement innovative strategies and interventions, and align contract and scope of work with Amity Foundations' integrated services approach.
Supporting the learning and practice of the teaching and Therapeutic Community model as well as training faculty that incorporates essential elements of the Teaching and Therapeutic Community.
Ongoing participation in faculty training and other fidelity to the model training as well as DHS required training.
What You Will Bring:
The Clinical Social Worker must meet the qualifications of a mental health professional, meaning a person providing clinical services in the treatment of mental illness that is qualified in of the following ways:
MFT or MSW with at least 2-3 years of experience working with the mental health, substance abuse, homeless, and/or re-entry populations.
Experience crisis intervention, hospitalization, psychiatry, and mental health diagnosis.
Previous Clinical experience working with individuals recently released from jail or prison a plus.
Experience crisis intervention, hospitalization, psychiatry, and mental health diagnosis.
ASW or AFMT and previous Supervisory experience are a plus!
