The Position:

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for our Full-Service Partnership (FSP) Program, at our Balboa site in Northridge, to provide trauma-informed clinical services to youth, young adults, and families through a culturally holistic and biopsychosocial approach.

Role and Responsibilities

Conducts intakes, clinical and diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and graduation from services.
Provides individual and family therapy in a variety of settings which includes office, school, community, home, and telehealth when clinically indicated.
Engages in advocacy, risk management, crisis intervention, safety planning, and on-going consultation with internal and external providers to better serve our clients' needs.
Facilitates Child and Family Team meetings with the treatment team and client stakeholders.
Coaches caregivers and other family members to support client treatment goals and improve outcomes.
Responds, under direction of supervisor, for emergency crisis intervention as needed, including outside of normal work hours (24/7 On Call), in an effort to reduce risk related issues.
Open to receiving ongoing and extensive training in crisis management and safety planning as well as consulting with licensed supervisors on a weekly basis.
Meets productivity expectations through the completion of required paperwork, outcomes, and charting.
Optional LPS Designation opportunity with differential aimed at completing application for psychiatric holds.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours), must be willing to work a non-traditional schedule with 24/7 on-call duties.
Hybrid work options are available.
Starting Salary: $67,500 (additional years of successful related experience and/or licensure will be considered as well).
+$3000 bilingual differential for Spanish Speaking clinicians (Must pass Spanish proficiency assessment)

Desired Qualifications

English required and Spanish bilingual proficiency highly preferred.
Experience working with high acuity youth and young adults.
Possess strong assessment, problem solving, and clinical judgment skills.
Utilizing a strength-based approach, is able to advocate for adjunctive services as needed.
Ability to approach risk assessment and safety planning in a calm and collaborative manner
Capacity to develop reasonable and appropriate treatment plans to meet the needs of the clients.
Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
