DBD is a leading commercial fit-out company specialising in high-quality shopfitting projects across Australia. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship, working with clients in the hospitality, retail, and corporate sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Shopfitter Supervisor to join our WA team with the aim to hopefully expand our operations even further over East. We currently have multiple fitouts in WA and a handful over east and wish to expand more.

About the Role:

As the Commercial Shopfitter Supervisor, you will oversee the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects, leading and managing teams both onsite and remotely. You will be the main point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, planning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise shopfitting teams, ensuring quality and efficiency.

  • Oversee procurement, scheduling, and client management.

  • Manage client phone calls, emails, and personal diary to ensure efficient and effective time management.

  • Handle internal and external stakeholder reporting.

  • Coordinate with interstate teams and manage remote operations across Australia.

  • Ensure that all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.

  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.

  • Be available for interstate travel when required.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in commercial shopfitting.

  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing shopfitting projects.

  • Strong organisational skills with experience in procurement, scheduling, and client management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams.

  • Experience with cabinetry and joinery is highly desirable.

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Display a solid understanding of all shopfitting processes from start to completion.

  • Proven and demonstrated ability to deliver quality projects on time and within budget.

  • Must be comfortable with interstate travel when required.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain stakeholder relationships.
