Community Operations Leader | Job Overview

As a Community Operations Leader, you will act as the coach for your team, an ambassador for our Live It culture, and a strategic planner for our business. You'll oversee community operations, ensuring financial performance, leasing achievements, vendor relationships, and resident satisfaction are all met with excellence. In this role, provide guidance and support to your team, ensuring optimal performance, strong occupancy, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

Community Operations Leader | Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in property management, including roles as Leasing Consultant and Assistant Community Manager. Preferred six months of experience as a Community Manager in multifamily settings. Familiarity with software like YARDI, Knock, and Microsoft is highly desirable.
  • Licenses & Certifications: A valid Driver's License is required; CAM, CAPS, Real Estate license, and/or Property Management License are preferred.

Community Operations Leader | Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage budgets, rent collection, and community financial reporting. Oversee move-outs, deposit accounting, and delinquency tracking while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Property Performance & Operational Excellence: Conduct inspections to uphold curb appeal and quality. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely management of work orders and preventive care while overseeing vendor services.
  • Team & Community Leadership: Foster a positive team culture, hire and train team members, and lead weekly meetings to align on objectives and recognize achievements. Lead with empathy while maintaining accountability.
  • Resident Experience & Engagement: Handle resident concerns with professionalism, plan engaging events to enhance satisfaction, and manage the community's online reputation.
  • Leasing & Occupancy: Support all leasing efforts, conduct tours, respond to leads, and ensure documents are processed accurately and on time. Create content to engage residents on social media while maintaining a welcoming environment in communal spaces.

Work Schedule:

Our office operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with one weekday off each week to maintain a 40-hour schedule. Evening and weekend availability may be necessary for events or community needs.
