Community Sign Language Interpreter
Under the guidance of the Communication Center Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch professional American Sign Language interpreting via video in a call center setting as well as on-site at various customer locations as needed. We seek interpreters who are fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English, possess strong interpreting skills, and have a comprehensive understanding of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
Compensation: $15.74-$65 (based on location, education, certifications, state wage minimums, and interpreter specialties)

Job Requirements:
- Must be available to work a minimum of two hours per quarter
- Successful completion of the company's interpreting skills assessment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective onsite interpreting services to consumers.
- Support and exemplify the company's mission and values.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor with clients and coworkers.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, including punctuality, preparedness, and collaborative interactions with colleagues and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in company-sponsored professional development training.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Possess the capability to travel independently. If driving is required, access to a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and appropriate insurance is necessary.
- Show strong interpersonal skills in all interactions.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Fluent in ASL and spoken English.
- Able to provide accurate interpretations.
- Good understanding of Deaf culture.
- Thorough knowledge of and strict adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
- Three to five years of interpreting experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Possess any necessary state licensure or credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
