We're seeking a Controller and Director of Finance to oversee the daily operations of our accounting and finance teams. You'll utilize data, reporting, forecasting, and analysis to inform business decisions and add value to the meaningful work we do. This position maintains a system of internal controls to ensure assets are safeguarded and financial reporting complies with all policies and US GAAP. Join our team, get a $2,000 sign-on bonus!
Responsibilities and Duties
Leadership. Oversee the general accounting function, including: General Ledger Accounts and Financial Reporting, Contract Service and Development Revenue, Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting, Cash Management/Treasury, Client Fiduciary Accounts, A/P and Payroll, and Low-Income Housing Accounting. Implement and enforce policies and procedures to support internal controls.
Reporting. Develop financial and operational reporting. Create financial pro-formas, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports. Ensure reports are prepared timely and in compliance.
Operations. Maintain financial records. Develop budgets and forecasts. Coordinate work related to audits. Ensure reconciliations are complete. Direct outgoing payments.
