We have partnered exclusively with a thriving digital growth agency based in central London that are ranked as one of the best places to work in the UK. They are looking for a talented CRO (Conversion Optimisation) Manager to join their brilliant team.


As a CRO Manager you will collaborate with and lead top talent, working for prestigious brands across various industry sectors that all operate in high demand trading environments.

More about the role:

Our client is a hybrid agency and consultancy with a strong track record of delivering growth through CRO strategy and execution for clients.


Typically, as the CRO Manager, you'll be the most senior person working on client sites leading engagements. You'll be tasked with developing strategic approaches, testing, managing client relationships and coaching the CRO team to continue to deliver great work.


A bit more about you:

  • Analytical mindset - comfortable handling quantitative data and understanding logic and statistics behind A/B testing
  • We're seeking candidates with strong technical expertise in CRO tools and a data-driven approach.
  • Hands-on experience with CRO tool such as: Optimizely, VWO, Piano, Zephr. experience using website analytics platforms: GA4 (must have), Adobe, Amplitude, Mixpanel
  • The successful candidate will be the thought leader on all things CRO and should have a proven track record of implementing and taking accountability for CRO strategies that seamlessly integrate with the broader customer journey. They must also be able to act as the escalation point for clients and the CRO team, and so must still be happy to be hands-on where necessary to remove blockers
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to build strong relationships and confidently navigate clients' internal teams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure trading environments is key and experience in a subscription-based business would be ideal. Users typically engage in a considered purchase journey over multiple visits, so understanding behavioural patterns and optimizing their path to conversion is critical
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and identify opportunities for quick wins as well as longer-term goals to drive quick, positive commercial impact.
  • Sometimes the agency is the entire CRO capability and at other times they are a complementary resource, so flexibility and adaptability to different client environments and processes are important qualities.
  • We're looking for someone who can lead, mentor and support the CRO team of 5 and line manage other members of the team (not necessarily CRO resources)
