CDG Engineers, Inc. is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their St. Louis, MO office. CDG is a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm headquartered in St. Louis, MO, with several other locations throughout the United States. The firm has approximately 80 personnel with capabilities in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines primarily servicing the fields of infrastructure, power, mining, industrial, and agriculture. CDG is known for solving some of the most complex problems in challenging environments and our staff is expected to regularly engage in high level problem solving to enable our clients to be successful.

Job Description

The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for maintaining CDG Engineers' financials. The preferred candidate must be able to learn quickly, figure things out on their own, be creative, and be willing to tackle challenging issues.

Responsibilities

Production of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Statements
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll
Cash Receipts/Deposits
Manage compliance/deposits for 401k, HSA, and cafeteria plans
Compound Insurance Applications
Maintain third party corporate compliance.
Assist in preparation of corporate tax returns
Financial accounting tasks needed to product accurate financial statements
Assist the President on reports and special projects
Assist office staff as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5 - 7 years of experience
Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision Preferred
Must be able to demonstrate that s/he/they can perform all the essential functions of the position.
