About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Corporate Assistant General Counsel to join our legal team and play a vital role in shaping the legal landscape of our business. The successful candidate will provide strategic commercial counsel and transactional support on a global scale. You will need a minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in a commercial counseling capacity within an in-house legal department. We seek a proactive and team-oriented individual with a strong history of advising on intricate commercial law transactions and mitigating legal risks. Key responsibilities include offering expert legal advice to various business units, negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, and overseeing the legal functions of our international operations. This is an opportunity for a self-starter with excellent analytical capabilities to take on significant responsibility and become a trusted business partner. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment are essential. A Juris Doctor degree and a current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required, with the ability to qualify for in-house practice in Massachusetts.
