We are looking for a dynamic Corporate Consolidations Accounting Manager who is willing to embrace a hybrid schedule, coming to our Dublin, Ohio office 1-2 days per week. We are also open to highly skilled remote candidates located in the Midwest.

The ideal candidate will lead the quarterly financial statement reporting process, manage the consolidation activities within Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and oversee the post-close journal entry and reporting deliverables to our Audit Committee and the SEC. This role is pivotal in coordinating financial operations while ensuring compliance with corporate policies across the organization.

Key Contributions of General Accounting to the Organization

Our Finance team is dedicated to managing the accounting, tax, financial plans, and policies of the organization. We ensure fiscal controls are robust, financial reports are accurate, and the organization’s assets are safeguarded.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quarterly financial statement reporting and deliverables to the Audit Committee and SEC
  • Manage a skilled team focused on consolidating Corporate financials through Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Lead the post-close journal entry process, collaborating with the Financial Systems team to ensure timely and accurate financial results
  • Engage with an off-shore accounting team to guarantee high-quality outputs and effective communication
  • Manage the Blackline Center of Excellence and its vendor relationships while overseeing the account reconciliation governance processes
  • Oversee accounting and financial statement filings for EPIC Insurance
  • Collaborate with Legal, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and Finance on essential Corporate initiatives
  • Ensure Corporate policies for intercompany transactions, foreign currency, legal entity reporting, and controls are followed
  • Coordinate intercompany cross charges and manage out-of-balance reporting
  • Develop and implement processes for accurate recording of intercompany activities
  • Lead an accounting team, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and organizational policies
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting
  • Maintain processes and controls to execute the monthly financial close and periodic account reconciliation
  • Support technology projects to define system capabilities, design requirements, testing, and implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of accounting experience in a related area
  • Prior managerial experience preferred
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus

Anticipated Salary Range: $105,100 - $150,100
