Job Description

The Corporate Development Associate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of strategic projects that are critical to the operations and long-term growth of IDIQ, spanning M&A, Strategy, and Strategic Finance. Examples of projects include executing on acquisitions, closing strategic partnerships, KPI development, market research and intelligence, working with cross-functional teams to bring new innovations to market, assisting in financing projects, among others. The Corporate Development Associate is responsible for driving analysis and execution of these high-priority IDIQ projects and will have direct exposure to senior leadership.

Primary Job Functions:

Lead complex and time-critical projects by quickly understanding context and developing an analytical framework that leads to prioritized and informed decision making.
Help diligence, negotiate, and execute transactions (M&A, Strategic Partnerships)
Synthesize data to identify KPIs and trends that translate into actionable insights.
Execute advanced analytics and modeling (e.g., bottoms-up operating models, drawing insights from large pools of data)
Drive market research and analyses
Work with cross-functional teams to research and develop business plans on new products or initiatives.
Support Head of M&A and Strategy, CFO, and CEO with high-priority initiatives.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant work experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, or corporate finance.
A college degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Self-directed and self-motivated; excellent communicator and collaborator
Strong intellectual curiosity and focus on owning the outcome.
Interest in fintech, credit, identity, and cybersecurity
Strong time management skills and project management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage different projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience and Skill:

Demonstrated problem solving, project management, and time management abilities combined with strong business judgement.
Experience developing complex analytical models in spreadsheets and using presentations to facilitate communication with senior stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with external and internal partners.

Additional Information

Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week).

Pay: The base pay range for this position if the work is performed in California (Colorado, New York City, NY) is a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $125,000 based on a full-time schedule. The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation such as commissions or annual discretionary bonuses.
