Position Summary: As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide both direct and indirect clinical services to patients in need of behavioral health interventions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting age-appropriate assessments and treatments for a diverse patient population with varying needs
  • Performing crisis triage and assessment, individual and family interventions, case management, and treatment planning
  • Collaborating with community resources and ensuring adequate placement in appropriate levels of care
  • Participating in emergency department interventions and acting as a resource for staff and families

Education/Certification: A Master’s Degree and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required. Candidates must obtain CPI certification in de-escalation techniques within 6 months of hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Your role will be multifaceted, involving:

  1. Active participation in clinical supervision sessions
  2. Demonstrating cultural competence in treatment approaches
  3. Accessing and utilizing community resources effectively
  4. Conducting timely interviews with patients while reviewing clinical information
  5. Maintaining up-to-date documentation in line with organizational standards
