Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Join our dedicated team in the Critical Care Float Pool and make a difference in the lives of patients at the Region's only Level I trauma center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing physician orders and administering medications.
• Starting IVs and performing treatments, procedures, and special tests.
• Documenting treatments as per company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assessing and evaluating patient care needs and responses.
• Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A strong understanding of quality improvement principles and problem-solving techniques.
