Job Description

• Effectively implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform necessary treatments and procedures while ensuring proper documentation as per company policy and applicable regulations.
• Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational health issues.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized Care Plans for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary staff while maintaining high professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and problem-solving techniques applicable to patient care.

Hourly Range: $34.65 - $35.69
