Hamburg Area School District is seeking a reliable and dedicated Second Shift Custodian to join our Facilities team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position plays an important role in supporting daily school operations by ensuring classrooms, common areas, and facilities are well maintained and prepared for the next school day. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and values contributing to a positive school community through dependable service and teamwork.

Employment Terms:

• This is a full-time, 12-month / second-shift position
• Work schedule: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (academic year), 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (summer and holiday break)
• Hourly rate: $16.34
• Benefits eligible on the first of the month following month of hire
• Full-time, 12-month staff are awarded 14 PTO days & 10 vacation days and receive 10 paid holidays annually
• This position is governed by the Hamburg Area Support Professionals Agreement and requires a probation period of 90 workdays.

Position Summary
Under immediate supervision, cleans assigned area or facilities of Hamburg Area School District daily. Assists with grounds maintenance and athletic field preparation. Reports to the Director of Facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
