Position Summary

The Customer Account Representative (CAR) serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service and support. This role manages customer inquiries, processes orders, prepares quotations, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter purchase orders into ERP systems
• Prepare and deliver customer quotations and documentation
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
• Act as the main contact for customers, buyers, and supply chain teams
• Coordinate customer meetings and site visits
• Track customer scorecards and performance metrics
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing for costing and order accuracy
• Utilize SAP and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage orders and workflows
• Monitor customer portals for pricing, lead times, and contract compliance
• Resolve customer issues related to delivery, warranty, or order discrepancies
• Support forecasting and demand planning activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2+ years of relevant customer service experience
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer service mindset
