Overview
As a Data Insights Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This role focuses on leveraging enterprise system data to enhance compliance efforts, uncover trends in payment collections, and understand taxpayer behaviors. You will be responsible for designing and implementing analytical frameworks, thoroughly documenting your methodologies and findings, and validating your models to ensure they are robust and ready for practical application within our organization.

Responsibilities
Engage with clients to comprehend their business goals, set research objectives, identify data sources, and formulate analysis strategies.
Utilize critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to identify and develop solutions to clients' complex challenges.
Perform exploratory data analysis on large client datasets, creating briefings and reports that effectively convey key findings to both colleagues and clients.
Collaborate with data science teams to construct pipelines for data engineering and machine learning initiatives.
Partner with software development teams to create tools for data visualization and analysis.
Provide actionable recommendations based on your analyses and present these insights to clients.
Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring complex analytical concepts are accessible to stakeholders with a range of technical backgrounds.
Take ownership of your tasks, delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience with data structures, foundational statistical concepts, and analytical methodologies.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and presenting data-driven findings and recommendations.
Public Trust Clearance is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check, which may include additional checks as required by specific projects or clients during employment.
Minimum Skills:
Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Experience with structured databases and query languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Postgres, MySQL).
Familiarity with statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or Stata is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to synthesize information from clients and team needs into actionable analytical plans.
Strong interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with clients and team members.

Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
