About the Role
Join our esteemed institution as the Dean of the School of Theology, a key member of the President's Cabinet, where your leadership will shape the educational landscape of our School. This pivotal role involves overseeing educational programs, curriculum design, and the assessment of learning outcomes, ensuring excellence in theological education. You will manage the School's budget and enhance the overall educational experience for our students while upholding accreditation standards.
In addition to administrative duties, you will have the opportunity to teach one course per academic year, providing theological and missiological guidance to both students and faculty. Collaboration with the President and Provost is essential, especially regarding accreditation activities and related reports.
Ideal candidates will possess a terminal doctoral degree in Theological or Religious Studies, have at least 5 years of leadership experience, and a proven track record in effective teaching. A commitment to Moravian theology and values is preferred, along with active engagement in the church's life. We are looking for a collaborative leader who can adapt to change, with a strong dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional skills in communication, leadership, organization, and financial management, excelling at building consensus and advocating for the success of students, faculty, and staff.
