Become the Dietitian You Aspire to Be
- Collaborate with and counsel patients per physician orders and dietary guidelines.
- Engage with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in patient care.
- Assess referral orders to ensure adequate nutrition intake methods.
- Document relevant patient information in medical records, adhering to established standards.
- Implement and adapt nutritional care plans, assisting patients with special dietary requirements.
- Conduct calorie counts and provide insightful dietary recommendations.
- Review menus for nutritional adequacy, ensuring quality and compliance.
Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- State licensure is required.
- Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Minimum one year of Clinical Dietetics experience preferred.
