This is a pivotal role in Reston, VA, where you'll facilitate various Captures across all lines of business with contract values exceeding $350M.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of capture strategies for strategic, high-value opportunities.
- Design and execute comprehensive capture plans through all phases of the capture and proposal process.
- Organize and execute significant capture activities, including team building, win probability assessments, and gap analyses to secure new business.
- Create compelling value propositions, support business cases, and develop early win strategies.
- Establish customer engagement plans, validate customer requirements, and identify emerging needs.
- Manage and control capture budgets efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Align resources across teams and collaborate with experts to shape winning proposals.
- Define schedules for efficient execution of capture and proposal activities.
- Ensure the timely submission of compliant RFI, sources sought, and proposal responses.
- Engage regularly with leadership and stakeholders for updates on capture progress.
- Conduct after-action reviews to capture lessons learned and refine strategies.
- Provide training on best practices in the capture process.
- Mentor team members in capture management techniques.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with over 15 years of experience, including 12+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven leadership in organizing and executing major capture activities, including team building and win strategy execution.
- Extensive experience winning large-scale opportunities valued over $350M.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, with experience in executive briefings.
- A track record of building effective relationships with customers and industry partners.
- Strong knowledge of various contract types and their implications on risk management.
- Ability to understand and address customer pain points and mission needs.
- Experience in rapidly responding to government procurement opportunities.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with senior corporate leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support operations.
- Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Capability to lead both local and remote teams effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for presenting ideas and reports.
Security Clearance:
- Top Secret clearance is desired but not mandatory.
