About the Role
The company is seeking a proactive Director of Compliance to lead our compliance initiatives and manage daily compliance activities across administration, lending, and operations. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement our Compliance Management Program, chair the Compliance Committee, and ensure adherence to key regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and the Community Reinvestment Act.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough quality control reviews, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, ensuring the accuracy of financial calculations, and overseeing audits and examinations. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking compliance, with advanced knowledge of banking laws, products, and services.
We seek an individual with exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills, who can address complex challenges independently. The Director of Compliance will also be responsible for conducting employee training, preparing compliance reports, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
