Director of Development
St. Ann's Community is seeking a highly altruistic development professional to join our dynamic Foundation team as a Director of Development. The Director of Development's primary focus to plan, coordinate and implement philanthropy programs for the benefit of St. Ann's Community.

Job Description:
• Manage a portfolio of current and potential donors to ensure their continued engagement with St. Ann's Foundation
• Develop and implement strategies for engagement, solicitation and stewardship of donors. Prepare proposals and other needed materials to support this process
• Partner with colleagues to ensure Foundation's success with Annual, Major and Planned Giving donors.
• Engage with team at St. Ann's Community to ensure the visibility of St. Ann's in the community.
• Generate donor communications as needed and assist in creation of print, digital and social media content
• Active use of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database to record and document donor interaction, strategy, generate reports and actively manage pipeline of donors.
• Adheres to AFP's Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights
• Assist with supervision of Staff
• Provide staff support to the Foundation Board and its committees as assigned.
• Meaningfully engage with St. Ann's Elders by participating in organized engagement programs and relationship building
• Manages complex relationships with individuals and organizations including community leaders, elected officials and key donors.
• Maintains confidentiality of donor giving records and elder information
• Works effectively across all levels of St. Ann's Community, especially with leadership staff and Board members.
• Complies with applicable organizational policies and procedures (ie: mandatory education, health requirement, HR requirements).
• Reliable, dependable and punctual in use of work time.
• Demonstrates initiative and cooperation in professional working relationships.
• Demonstrates a commitment of quality through participation on improvement teams & identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Works to improve performance relative to the system's organizational goals.
• Consistently delivers high quality service being responsive to customer needs.

Candidate Requirements:
• Candidate MUST present Cover Letter and resume for consideration
• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in development/fundraising environment, non-profit, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Strong writing, interpersonal, collaborative and oral presentation skills are essential. Maintain high standards of integrity, authenticity and work ethic. Highly altruistic.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of programs. Experience and proficiency at Blackbaud Raiser's Edge software a plus.
• Occasional evening and weekend work.
