Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a forward-thinking digital transformation strategy that aligns with corporate and system-wide goals.
  • Provide expert senior leadership on digital initiatives to executives, the board, and key collaborators.
  • Oversee a range of digital programs ensuring best practices in governance, risk management, and benefits realization.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, IT, and patient stakeholders to co-design innovative digital services.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing digital transformation team, fostering growth and development.
  • Enhance digital capability and literacy across all departments within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance of all digital initiatives with information governance, cyber security, and clinical safety standards.
  • Deliver transparent reports on performance, risks, and outcomes to leadership and assurance committees.
  • Promote a culture of learning that empowers colleagues to innovate and adapt effectively.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in digital transformation and programme delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep understanding of the pivotal role digital transformation plays in executing successful programmes and projects.
  • Proven experience in designing and launching effective digital strategies and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or public sector environments.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean, and human-centred design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various digital tools and platforms (e.g., AI, Electronic Patient Records, interoperability).
  • Empathetic, supportive, and thoughtful approach to driving organizational change.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Adept at selecting and utilizing a variety of digital transformation tools and methodologies suited to project needs.
  • Proficient in planning and managing major projects or new initiatives.
  • Dedication to professional integrity and confidentiality.
