Director of Pain Management

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their staff in Brooklyn as their new Director of Pain Management. In this role, the Director of Pain Management will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pain management services to patients.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Pain Management will:

• Develop and implement pain management policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the delivery of pain management services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
• Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete, and that documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure that pain management interventions are effective and appropriate
• Develop and deliver educational programs to patients and healthcare providers on pain management topics
• Manage and allocate resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies
• Ensure that the Pain Management team is trained and competent to provide high-quality care to patients
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research, developments, and best practices in pain management
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
• Board Certified in Pain Management
• Fellowship in Pain Management
• 5+ years of experience in Pain Management and/or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
• Knowledge of Pain Management techniques & procedures
