Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to spearhead our sales initiatives in the ERP Systems domain, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. In this critical role, you will manage the entire sales cycle from market outreach to deal closure, driving revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and aligning sales strategies with the company’s goals.

You will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and internal teams to convert market opportunities into signed contracts. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution with a keen emphasis on implementing solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete sales process from lead generation to contract execution.

  • Devise and implement sales plans that align with revenue and growth objectives.

  • Develop and sustain a healthy sales pipeline across key industries and accounts.

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities in Dynamics 365 licenses and services.

  • Foster strategic account development and expand existing client relationships.

  • Lead Generation & Opportunity Development
  • Proactively generate leads through outreach, partnerships, and networking.

  • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities ensuring they align with strategic goals.

  • Facilitate discussions to uncover customer needs and business drivers.

  • Ensure consistent communication and progression of prospects through the sales pipeline.

  • Client Engagement & Deal Management
  • Build lasting relationships with prospects, customers, and partners.

  • Conduct commercial discussions and lead presentations for prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to create compelling proposals.

  • Lead the preparation of proposals and negotiate contracts that align with company policies.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with our delivery and product teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.

  • Collaborate with leadership on sales priorities and account strategies.

  • Support go-to-market planning for service offerings and products.

  • Provide market feedback to assist in refining our approach and strategies.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain effective tracking of the sales pipeline and reporting on sales activities.

  • Establish a rigorous approach to CRM management and opportunity tracking.

  • Monitor sales metrics and suggest improvements for conversion and win rates.

  • Regularly report progress to the Managing Director on pipeline and market engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields; equivalent experience may substitute.

  • 7+ years of B2B sales or commercial leadership experience.

  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle effectively.

  • Deep expertise in ERP, enterprise software, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Successful track record of building pipelines and closing complex deals.

  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Experience in ERP sales for mid-market and upper mid-market clients.

Desired Skills

  • Specific experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.

  • Familiarity with ERP project implementations and software sales.

  • Experience with Microsoft ecosystem partners and indirect sales models.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, retail, or healthcare industries.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $105,000 to $135,000, based on experience.
