Description - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient, and tailor bespoke treatment plans
- Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring function
- Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge logistics, and prescribed home exercises
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Take part in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences, ensuring cohesive care delivery
Education - Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Certifications - Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy
- CPR certification preferred
