Compensation: $41.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and programming expertise, especially with Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Ensure the reliability of manufacturing processes and adherence to standards.
  • Conduct preventative and annual maintenance on equipment.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Identify, plan, and execute follow-up maintenance work.
  • Maintain organized and safe work environments.
  • Respond to unplanned maintenance needs as needed.
  • Document work orders and maintenance records accurately.
  • Communicate maintenance updates through written pass-downs.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electronic controls and instrumentation.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscope, VOM) for system testing and repairs.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Basic programming and advanced troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic.
  • Willingness to participate in the Hazmat team.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Capability to read & interpret blueprints and other engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work weekends and off-shift hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License or related apprentice experience.
  • Computer literacy and a willingness to learn SAP/PPE systems.
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance experience in food processing environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with test/calibration tools (RTD calibrators, multimeters, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase, 120 VAC, and 24VDC circuits.
