Emergency Department Clinical Nurse III - Night Shift

Position Overview:

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Clinical Nurse III. Work Schedule: Night Shift (36 hours per week)

Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and conduct special tests while adhering to company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with nursing team members to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.

In this role, you will guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a diploma, associate's, or baccalaureate degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques; ability to apply these in enhancing departmental and patient care quality.
