Endocrinologist Needed in Altoona, PA - Flexible Schedule Interviewing NOW!!!

Seeking a Endocrinologist to work in Altoona, PA to examine patients for hormone imbalances and related conditions; treat and diagnose disorders and diseases of the endocrine system, including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, diabetes, disorders of menopause, PMS, andropause, pituitary, and adrenal disorders by helping to restore the normal balance of hormones in the body; order tests to evaluate patient s condition; consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment; prescribe and administer medication; and elicit and record patient information.

Job Responsibilities:

Examine patients for hormone imbalances and related conditions;

• Treat and diagnose disorders and diseases of the endocrine system including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, diabetes, disorders of menopause, PMS, andropause, pituitary, and adrenal disorders by helping to restore the normal balance of hormones in the body;
• Order tests to evaluate patient s condition;
• Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment;
• Prescribe and administer medication; and
• Elicit and record patient information.

Qualifications:

-Medical degree (M.D.) or foreign equivalent;

-Completed Internal Medicine residency training and Endocrinology fellowship training;

Board-certified in Internal Medicine;

-Have or be able to obtain PA medical license.
