As a crucial member of our diverse team, you will have clear ownership of tasks and the autonomy to solve problems creatively. Help our U.S. Navy warfighters deliver cutting-edge software solutions that enhance planning and execution for missions related to carrier strike groups operating globally, tackling areas such as anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarms, and much more.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that teams depend on.
- Automating infrastructure to ensure environments are predictable and supportable.
- Supporting containerized platforms within secure, regulated environments.
- Collaborating directly with software and cybersecurity engineers to address delivery challenges.
- Adapting to various program needs, priorities, and technical stacks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a BS/BA; or 0 years with an MS/MA or 6 years without a degree.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain, a Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes.
- Residence in the San Diego metro area is necessary.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah).
- Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm).
- CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. Salary is influenced by the role’s scope and responsibilities, individual qualifications, and geographic factors. Employees may also earn overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
