Entry-Level Registered Nurse

Essential Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care according to the highest standards and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to thoroughly assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to the care rendered.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in all patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including both over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create and execute individual Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques, demonstrating an ability to enhance departmental and patient care quality.
