Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing treatments and procedures. You will work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop care plans tailored to our patients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders and administer medications while following company policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for effective care delivery.
- Apply nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to establish patient care plans.
- Guide ancillary personnel and uphold nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and their application in patient care.
